Regional Groups

CDF has regional groups in every part of the UK

These groups are a great source of support and fellowship with others in your local area, with face-to-face gatherings and regional whatsapp groups for encouragement.

You’re very welcome to join us, whether you are a CDF member or not.

International Dental Graduates

This group meets the first Sunday every other month at 8pm on Zoom – August 2nd, October 4th and December 6th. For more details please contact Prince and Julie via  cdf admin

Saturday 20th June for a teatime meal and get-together. This is for CDF members and any other interested people from the wider dental workforce. All are welcome!

Venue: We will be meeting at the home of Brian and Ann in Lisvane, Cardiff

Time: Meet at 4pm for a 5:30pm meal provided by local members

North-West England  Gathering on Saturday 20th June, 10am-1pm

North West CDF/CMF Regional Meeting in Partnership with Andrew Walls Centre for Asian and African Christianity 

Date: Saturday 20th June, 10am-1pm (lunch provided)

Venue: i3 Building, Room B004, Liverpool Hope University, Hope Park, Liverpool, L16 9JD

Speaker: Pastor Nic Harding – Former GP and founding pastor of Frontline church, Liverpool has kindly agreed to speak on the topic “Lifestyle of Mission” 

Parking: Ample parking available inside the University for £2/day.  However, the surrounding streets are usually quiet over the weekend.

We will be meeting on Saturday 13th June at: Burnby Hall Gardens in Pocklington

Meet at 10.30am for coffee. We’ll then have a stroll and lunch in the café, with the option of another wander in the afternoon if people have time. Please feel free to come along for as much or as little of the day as suits you.

The East Midlands branch of the CDF Midlands Regional Group will be having a social gathering on Saturday 25th July, at Belton House National Trust, near Grantham.
We shall be meeting at 11am near the ticket office close to the carpark.
Dental friends, families (and dogs) are all most welcome whether members or non-members. Feel free to bring a picnic or eat at the cafe.
The grounds, garden and house are lovely to walk around and chatting as we walk and eat together is always a good recipe for fellowship and getting to know one another.

We will meet for the afternoon at the National Trust property, Saltram House, with lovely gardens and views over Plymouth Sound. We will visit the tearooms afterwards. All are welcome.

This event brings together Christian medical professionals to consider our response to the growing call for assisted suicide, rooted in a commitment to the dignity and God given value of every human life. The event will include three sessions covering the current landscape, the theological foundations of a Christian response, and practical approaches to compassionate end-of-life care. We will be joined by Dr Paul Coulter, Professor Max Watson and Dr Matt Dore. There will be time for tea and coffee, followed by a Q&A session.

Breakfast followed by Dr Tim Huey continuing our series on “Encouragement in times of discouragement.”
 
Who is keeping you keep going and who are you strengthening? Drawing on Hebrews 3:13, we’ll explore how ordinary conversations can become deeply encouraging, building one another up in the realities of work, life, and faith.
 
Tim Huey works part-time as a GP. He is involved in biblical counselling at Whiteabbey Presbyterian Church and tutors on the BCUK Certificate Programme in Conversational Ministry.
